April 2003 – Present: Technical Systems Administrator for NHS Shared Business Services.

Designed and developed Microsoft Access Manual Payments Database, to replace existing Paradox solution, and automate BACS payments and associated documentation Designed and developed Microsoft Access Risk Register Database Continued Signatory Management web based database, using VBScript, JavaScript, ASP with SQL for front end for Access database and associated documentation. Designed, and developed public HSFS website www.hsfs.nhs.uk. Designed, and developed Postroom Returns web based database, using VBScript, JavaScript, ASP with SQL for front end for Access database and associated documentation. Support and development of C# web based room bookings database. Various C# programs to help IT Department with daily tasks. Oracle, SQL AIX Korn scripting, user account creation. 14th May 2002 - March 2003: QIF Project/ PAI Link file team leader and editor for Ordnance Survey (through Barker Personnel and Manpower employment agencies).

December 2001 - January 2002: Support Staff for Currys

As a temporary Christmas general assistant duties included stacking shelves, warehouse management, collecting from and taking goods out to customers' cars. Helping customers, and dealing with enquiries.

January 1997-June 1997: Trainee Programmer Union Bank Switzerland (University Placement)

Working in development and test department for Union Bank of Switzerland, in Zurich Switzerland, mainly using C and C++ on Sun Sparc machines. I also wrote some Perl scripts, and a Microsoft Access inventory database.

University vacations (Summer 1994-Summer 1998): Temp work for Drake International Southampton, arehouse work, driver's mate, factory, various manual, and unskilled.

Summer 1993-Summer 1995: Relief lifeguard at Oakland's swimming pool Southampton and Saturday work as a lifeguard

Education and Qualifications

For my main project I wrote a puzzle game for the PC in C using OpenGL.

University Of Essex 1994 - 1998 BSc Computer Science with French honours degree 2:2.

For my final year project I used MFC in Visual C++ to write a sports statistics database.
