Unfortunately I only caught the last few songs of c. Lung 'since we had difficulty parking! (Odd that in London eh!). However what I did see of them was good, and when I 've seen them before I've found them very entertaining indeed. They're a white hip hop band that uses real guitars!
Primus came on stage as always with style. Their intro music was the Sy Snootles band from Return of the Jedi music! Most of the songs came from the new album Tales From The Punch Bowl , with old classics.
Highlights include Too Many Puppies, where the bass solo in the
middle went into the intro from Metallica's Master Of Puppets,
Jerry was a Race Car driver( for obvious Reasons),
De Anza Jig(Purely 'cos it's one of my fave songs on the new album).
And the last encore where the majority of the crowd were demanding
Tommy the Cat, So they played the intro, played Here Come The
Bastards, then walked off stage and didn't come back!
